This one was supposed to look even better than the A350. Am I missing something? It looks kinda flat and doesn't remind me of the 747 Classics they had.
Sadly I think the execution of these Cathay retro liveries ended up backfiring. They don't look as nice as Lufthansa's D-ABYT, Cargolux or others...

Same idea,I think the reason is that the text is too big and the body isn't coated with silver metal. Put a photo for comparison.

Love the colours and the patterns but not the generic font - and never a big fan of a 'face' on an airplane - especially when reproduced as a 'photograph' or such - graphical is still kinda okay if its celebratory - like those Air Serbia ones - but preferably go the JetBlue or LH way when doing 'faces' or 'people'

Yeah I agree. This livery looks great but the kid's photo ruined a bit for me
