I get it if you disagree, it’s iconic, but I actually like it better without the tulip.
Yeah it'll take some getting used to that's all I guess - the silver Tulip had a nice ephemeral aspect to it - sometimes visible and sometimes not - and sometimes in part and sometimes in full. - and hopefully they won't eventually discard the grey underbelly. Some of their narrowbodies didn't have the Tulip I now notice.
 
Sad to see this livery becoming simpler! Although it's an OK livery, nothing really striking or distinctive to begin with. Would be nice to see Turkish coming up with a more elaborated design
 
Southwest Airlines just had a route expansion

After a dispute with ITA Airways for the "similar name" Italian airline AeroItalia will be renamed Air Italy.
There are two Air Italy in the history of Italian civil aviation:
- Air Italy charter airline 2005 - 2018
- Air Italy, ex Meridianafly, 2018 - 2020.

News of today: Aeroitalia will lease up to five B737 MAX8 starting by third quarter 2026.
About the name change, Air Italy, It seems to be problematic. More news in the future.
