Airline News

NOOOOOOO, WHAT A SAD, SAD, SAD NEWS!!!

Condor is retiring its last Boeing 757-300 aircraft in November 2025, with the final farewell flight scheduled for November 5 from Frankfurt to Vienna, ending 35 years of operating the Boeing type. This retirement marks the end of Condor's 35-year "Boeing era" and is part of the airline's strategy to transition to a modern, all-Airbus fleet, including the Airbus A321neo and A330neo, for greater efficiency and sustainability.

IndiGo Airlines, the largest airline in India, will receive the first A321XLR for the end of the year and, starting from January 2026, the airline will start Mumbai - Athens route 3 times a week and New Dheli - Athens route 3 times a week.
Athens will be the fourth IndiGo destination in Europe after Manchester, London LHR and Amsterdam, served by leased B787.

JetBlue’s third rendition of a New York Jets themed aircraft recently left the paint shop. They are the official airline of the Jets since 2009 when the first edition of this livery came to be. The airline should be doing some sort of unveiling here shortly.

I remember when British Airways launched the London City - New York JFK flight, then ended in 2020, with the A318 32 business class seats. It was considered "direct flight" even with the fundamental stop at Shannon Airport (Ireland): the A318 did not have enought fuel taking off LCY so Shannon stop was essential to refuel the airplane and for Custom documents so flight was considered domestic once landed at JFK.
