Aeroclassics Releases December 2025

A great selection and nice to see most of these look like they turned out really well. I had heard AC had moved its printing to a new location away from the mould work because of quality issues at the original.
If I remember Andrew's words right from the Amsterdam Fair 2 or 3 years ago, the printing and mould work were already split up, so I don't think there is a difference in this batch.

The KLM Viscount looks pretty good, too bad the factory invented an extra window next to the front door. Can't find a single picture with KLM livery that has it, neither does the release poster.

Anyone know why none of the retailers have the Airbus House A300 posted anymore? Did it get pulled for copyright? Theres no way it sold out everywhere already… right?

All 3 727-200s are re-releases. The Delta 727 appears to be the same as the 2023 version after all. I've got the 2005 Gemini version so I don't need that. The Braniff 727 is also an exact re-release of the 2006 version (I think this was the only BN 727-200 to wear the jellybean). The Continental is a re-release of the 2014 version. All solid re-releases nonetheless.

Interesting that the National DC-10 doesn't have a 'Fly Me' name, which makes it different to the previous releases.

I am concerned that I'm seeing wavy wings on the A300s though - hopefully not:

The big news with this set is that technically the 707-320 is a new mould as this is a turbojet and so has not just new engines but also a new wing and wing/fuselage join - plus ventral fin. The schemes here aren't doing a lot for me, but the potential for this 320 is big. Would be bigger if I thought AC could be trusted to replicate different fin combinations.

Already here it looks like the ventral fin is too small and I'm far from convinced by the engine exhausts and pylons.

There were actually 3 Braniff 727-227s that were delivered in the jellybean colors.
Of course, N401BN in red:

I have some at home, I just haven’t had a chance to list them.

I’m out flying but the secretary (AKA my wife), sent me this:
