Aeroclassics Releases December 2025

Seems to be quite a decent set, with a lot of DC-10's and Viscounts. There also seems to be a BlueBox Delta 727-200 Widget, and a Red Braniff 727-200 as well.

I might pick up the Royal Air Maroc 707 depending on how it turns out once I see images, but pass on the Turkish 707 since it isn't the lovely pinstripe scheme. Once again, looks like a stellar set with some goodies for everyone.

Wow a giant set with some real gems! The Continental, Delta, and Braniff 727s are great to see. Also very tempted by the LAKER DC-10

A great selection and nice to see most of these look like they turned out really well. I had heard AC had moved its printing to a new location away from the mould work because of quality issues at the original.

All 3 727-200s are re-releases. The Delta 727 appears to be the same as the 2023 version after all. I've got the 2005 Gemini version so I don't need that. The Braniff 727 is also an exact re-release of the 2006 version (I think this was the only BN 727-200 to wear the jellybean). The Continental is a re-release of the 2014 version. All solid re-releases nonetheless.

Interesting that the National DC-10 doesn't have a 'Fly Me' name, which makes it different to the previous releases.

I am concerned that I'm seeing wavy wings on the A300s though - hopefully not:

The big news with this set is that technically the 707-320 is a new mould as this is a turbojet and so has not just new engines but also a new wing and wing/fuselage join - plus ventral fin. The schemes here aren't doing a lot for me, but the potential for this 320 is big. Would be bigger if I thought AC could be trusted to replicate different fin combinations.

Already here it looks like the ventral fin is too small and I'm far from convinced by the engine exhausts and pylons.

I just ordered the following models as I don't have the previous releases for these:
  • Royal Air Maroc B707-300
  • National Airlines DC-10-30
  • LAP Paraguay DC-10-30
  • Continental Airlines B727-200
  • Braniff International B727-200
Only the RAM 707 will be an replacement for the well known zinc rot victim, even tho this release is not without faults. I rejected the THY 707 because I prefer their livery variant with the stripes instead the solid red pattern on the tail and also because of the nose shape. It looks overpolished as can be seen on some Viscounts.

I am struggeling to order the Laker Skytrain and the JAS A300. I need to keep some money for Richard's upcoming V1:400 models. ;)

Have a great weekend. :D
