It's almost certainly a 727-200 not a DC-9. There are a couple of other US three-holers too

Presumably it'll be a different widget variant a 1970s version perhaps. The scheme is quite different

It doesn't matter....I can definitely use another DL 727-200. Hopefully it'll be N474DA, I flew on that one and it was also the 1,000th 727 built.

I would rather have a Widget 727 than a DC-9 so that would be wonderful.

The store is full of them, either online or when you come for a visit. We are always heavy on Aeroclassics, then again AK is just 5 minutes away from us, maybe 15 in traffic.

Didn't AC update/revise their 727 mould earlier this year? Then it would definitely be an improvement over the 2023 version. The recent 727s have been really nice.

They did but I think it's somewhat debatable whether it would be considered an improvement

As far as I know, the update was a mere reshape of the #2 engine exhaust, and it still isn't accurate

Agreed. The previous one looked closer to the real thing one could argue.
