Aeroclassics March 2025 Releases

Good point! The recent Air France A300B was not perfect but way better than the VASP.

For comparison the Air France above and VASP below.

I hope it’s noticeable despite the bad quality of the photos.

Yeah, my VASP looks exactly like yours, very noticeable and ridiculous :(

Would have been interested in the IL-76 if it didn't look like a toy. Models from 20 years ago have more detail than this.

@Mark22 to be honest i'm also not really a fan of the IL-76 mould of AC either, despite tolerating it and wanting to have one in my collection.
It looks a bit too bloated somehow.

I remember when I used to collect 1:500 scale and I always thought Herpa's IL-76 had a much better overall look than the 1:400 IL-76 versions:

Wow! This looks solid! The details are great for 1:500. And printing quite sharp!

I've always disliked ACs landing gears - and especially on the il-76s. Lollipops.

Yeah, bugger. As someone who is married to a Seychellois, I'm always keen to get models of her national carrier into the collection but I'm really iffy about this now with the colours.
Here you go - from Buchair USA
Looks like there's a weird filter though on these photos

I'd get this though - the colours are definitely paler, but I doubt anyone's gonna be making this soon - PHX would have if they'd had a 762 mould (bummer)

I'm getting the Air Seychelles regardless. As usual, the question is, who else is going to make this? It's a better casting in my opinion than the JC/Gemini, and the NG 767-200 has been used what, once? Good luck waiting for an Air Seychelles 767 from them, they haven't even made the airline in any form. Until then, this is the only option, and it will look fine with the other representatives from Air Sechelles in my collection until the day something better is offered.

My copy should arrive midweek. I'm looking forward to comparing the shade of green used on this model compared to the A300 Aeroclassics released in 2014 of the same scheme. (reg. F-BVGM). I can't argue that the subject's color looks lighter (which is surprising since Aeroclassics generally produce darker shades), but hopefully they won't look atrocious side by side.

While I still will defend that it's the only real shot we have at a 767-200 representative for Air Seychelles, maybe Aeroclassics shouldn't have bothered. I was hoping once the model was in hand it wouldn't appear too different from her sisters, but for me, this is pretty big flop. On her own she looks ok, but its quite clear inconsistency is consistent at Aeroclassics.

And her they are in low light.

And here she is next to a Phoenix 767-300.

I'm clearly not a macro guru, but I think it's still easy to see how significant of a difference it is. Not Great!

Thanks man for these photos!
The photos themselves are great!

And I agree it's really disappointing when seen next to its fleet mates. Inevitably so perhaps - given how obvious the colour issue was from previous photos - but now the degree to which it is, is clear.
