Houston, we have a problem… Only a short drive away from the resting place of the real N905NA old and new replicas of the aircraft meet. I have to say that the legendary BigBird mold (JC) holds up quite well against the new darling HX (Patriot)

*Please Note* These still appear as pre orders on www.yankeevictor400.shop, even though they are already on property - the Patriot inventory is also capped and needs to be updated. I was out for two weeks and in the meantime Patriot, GJ, JC, 3DD, NG, InFlight and Aeroclassics all arrived, so it is going to take me a few days to get the website all up to date, hence this update. Stay tuned, lots of good stuff being processed.

I wonder how that JC with Space Shuttle will compare to this Patriot release when that JC finally comes around

I believe JC will pump those out relatively quickly (for JC standards).

Not to state the obvious, but Patriot will take the upper hand. Not only are they using the superior HX mold, but it also comes with the Patriot "premiumness."

JC will be a nice alternative for collectors who cannot afford the Patriot one. After all, it will be cast on the BigBird mold, which, while outdated, it is still highly regarded in the great scheme of things. At least it doesn't carry that silly stigma that Phoenix does, so there's that.

This is why competition is good. For decades, collectors wanting an SCA had to pay an arm and a leg for a Dragon Wings one. If the Patriot boys had not taken the plunge, I doubt JC would have taken the initiative. Now the market is well served.
