I believe the 747-SP is a great mold not used enough in the 400 market.

I remember seeing a post where I think Andrew explained that sets didn't sell as well as the individual models, since most people didn't want to pay the higher price when they only wanted one of the models in the set. Taking something as obscure as a Syrian Air 747SP and releasing two of them in a set seems like a bad idea.

I do have couple set in my collection, most of them the BigBird 747s, honestly I don’t like sets because most of them have models I don’t want include, like mentioned above sometimes you are forced to get an models which doesn’t fit your model collection, so single models is always the best, except the 727 transbrasil what was the best set ever because the unique color scheme! But we are here to talk the 747-SP this time .

Only unreleased one I'd be interested in is KAL old livery, although I'm not really a huge fan of the colors. The blue top 7456 is my favorite model to date.

I love my model of 7456 too, and all others in my collection with that scheme. I've warmed to the old KAL c/s, so wouldn't mind adding that one you suggest either, on the NG tooling.

We've surely got to have a classic Aerolineas Argentinas made on it too!

Qatar Amiri Flight VP-BAT was produced not too long ago by NG and you can still get it at a decent price in many places! I wish they would produce the 747-8i VQ-BSK as well.

Correct, I do actually own that model and it’s looks super nice, well the NG mould of the 747-SP is impressive, not sure why it do not get used as I do expect but we will never know. Waiting Hoping for the best
