My name is Nathan — I’m a pilot, a father, and the owner of a small family-run business called 5 Towns Models & Co.located in the heart of the 5 Towns Long Island NY. We’ve been quietly building up our presence in the diecast world the past year, and I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself here on the forum.

I’ve been passionate about aviation and collecting for as long as I can remember, and I feel incredibly grateful to now be doing this full-time. We’re proud to be the U.S. warehouse and distributor for SQ Wings and HX Models — handling their inventory here domestically and helping get these amazing pieces into the hands of collectors across North America.

We’re not a big operation — just a tight-knit family that believes in treating every order and customer with care. If you’ve ever ordered from us, you already know it and we thank you. And if not, I hope one day to earn your trust.

Haha — fair question, and you're definitely not the first to ask something like that!

To clarify, there's absolutely nothing illegal going on here. Our website is first and foremost built around our deep passion for premium diecast aviation models — that's our core focus, and it always will be. But over time, we've also expanded to include a curated mix of other collector items that aren't strictly aviation-related.

Why? Because many of our customers are serious collectors in general — not just of planes, but of memorabilia, rare pieces, toys, and other hard-to-find treasures. So we opened the door to offer some of these things too, while maintaining the same high standards of authenticity and quality we hold for our aircraft models.

It might feel a little unexpected at first glance, but think of it like a collector’s lounge — a place where aviation meets nostalgia, rarity, and personal passion. Everything is sourced legitimately, legally, and with care — so while it may look a bit unconventional, it's all above board and very much intentional.
