1:400 Airport WIP

Hi All! I recently started work on a new airport. It is not physically based on any real-life airport, however I intend to base operations off of Melbourne Airport (YMML). I am currently working out the layout and gate markings. I’m really enjoying this project and looking forward to sharing the completed work with you all.
Any feedback, suggestions, help or useful tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

Looks really good, keep us updated with your progress. If you have enough models, maybe make Qantas the hub airline and give them their own dedicated terminal.

Thanks! I am pretty limited on space at the moment, this is really all I have space for. As the operations are based on YMML, one of Qantas's hubs, there will be a large number of Qantas aircraft present. However, for diversity's sake, I chose to mimic the international terminal, although I do have a T1 (Qantas) build planned as well.

Qantas seems like a solid airline to fly on.

Normally, yes, but sadly not at the moment. I flew Qantas from Melbourne to Perth in April this year, with a 3-hour delay and lost baggage. Still hoping for things to improve, and return to the old Qantas.

Update! I have finished the basic gate markings for all the gates. I intend on increasing detail with GSE parking spots and other markings. I am about to start working on some terminals and 3D printed GSE.

Update! I have just ordered Jetbridges, I went with the JC transparent blue ones, they should be arriving sometime in the future. In the meantime, where should I place these markings, on the outer side of the gates only, towards the terminals, or both? Thanks (Please note that this is a quick edit on Canva, and not a final design what-so-ever)
