Unfortunately 3DD is your best option right now. If I had higher standards on printing I’d pick them 10 times out of 10.

3DD holds up really well to diecast — I see them worth trying, especially for the Northwest Mesaba Dash 8.
One thing I’ve started to dislike about my 3DD models is how light it is.

That’s fine I have nothing against 3DD and totally understand why people like them. However I quit collecting plastic models when I transitioned to die cast because they were die cast. I would rather stick to that realm and don’t have much interest going back to plastic models even if they’re the same scale.

For me, I don't give a damn if it's plastic or diecast and (for the most part) I don't give a lot of focus on the moulds. For me, however, the printing is the most important. I'd get bad mould but good printing over good mould but bad printing.
