This is absolutely true, ESPECIALLY ON EBAY! The prices are extortionate, i don't know if it is because i live in Australia or something else but sellers are charging up most of $200 FOR A SINGLE MODEL. IT IS RIDICULOUS.
The routes for the aircraft I do have are:
US Airways Boeing 757 - Philidelphia
Hapag Lloyd Express Boeing 737-700 - Cologne/Bonn
Air India Boeing 747 - Delhi (continuing on from Toronto-Pearson)
This is where I will be posting the progress of my 2006-2007 era Birmingham Airport (in the UK not the US).
As you can see, it's quite small (as I don't have much space in my room) and I still need more period-appropriate aircraft. The wood 'terminals' are temporary until I can afford to buy...
here's my Gemini Jets wishlist, with desperately needed historical models (and some modern ones mixed in):
GJ Canadian Airlines International Airbus A320 (NEEDED DESPERATELY!)
GJ Canadian Airlines International Boeing 737-200 (NEEDED DESPERATELY!)
GJ Midwest Airlines Boeing 717
GJ Midwest...
I have seen my Qantas Airbus A330 VH-QPA (with 80 years sticker), parked at the gate on a recent Sydney to Singapore trip (sadly without the 80 years sticker)
