    Zinc Rot, What is it?

    Gemini junk. That's too bad.

    Aeroclassics Release for June 2025

It's just careless, and frankly a bit disrespectful and insulting to think people won't notice. 'Here, spend your hard earned money on a product that we refuse to improve, and don't care enough to spot check.' It's just a poor effort that's on display from production through to distribution. It...

    Aeroclassics Release for June 2025

Buyer be ware, these samples are showing a variety of production issues. I'm sadly in no hurry this month. The nose on this 707 is just really not ok.

Model Review - McDonnell Douglas DC-9-81 UDF by JC Wings

It's nice to see JC Wings utilize an older casting in a way to keep 1/400 scale interesting. I also agree that this is a superior casting compared to the one GJ/JC have been using.

Model Review - China Eastern A350 by Aero Polaris

I was going to say the same thing. To me, after looking at Richard's photos, it actually looks like the shape of the APU is a bit different. That's just me though.

    Show Your Latest 1:400 Purchase

Good lord there's a lot of these pop-up brands to keep track of. Nice little models, the Juneyao is particularly nice and colorful. C Models would mean that that's the Panda tooling?

Model Review - China Eastern A350 by Aero Polaris

These seem to have limited availability in the United States. I've only seen Aero Polaris models at one retailer, and only the 737s. I'm sure that will be a hurdle for U.S. buyers.

Beijing HEC Model Expo 2025 Review

Great summative Richard, thank you. A little bit of everything in the works it seems. Lots of new players in the scale looking to challenge the tenured companies.

    Aeroclassics March 2025 Releases

You should do more investigating, not every A300 has been affected, and the AC A300 mould is really good. There's no harm in reaching out to a few dealers to see what's available. No harm in asking if in stock models are up to spec.

    Aeroclassics March 2025 Releases

The Air Sechelles is a real disapointment. That's top of my list when Panda gets their casting into full production. But I suspect it will be a long time before we see another example of this airline, so this version will hold it's position until then.

    Aeroclassics March 2025 Releases

That's absolutely fair. I used to be more critical of it, but I've softened as of late, but that's just out of personal preference, and not based on sheer accuracy. Like I said, everyone knows with the Panda mould coming, this one will be less and less relevant.

    Aeroclassics March 2025 Releases

Absolutely agree with you. I think the Aeroclassics 762 gets more flack than it deserves. It's not as atrocious as some make it out to be. It is largely brought down by the larger gears, but up on the stand, or in the hand, it's not bad looking, and because of the lower demand, many of the older...

    Aeroclassics March 2025 Releases

A few more photos from the March set. My A300's both have the 'wavy wings.' Not a bad set overall, but with production issues happening consistently, and new A300, and 767-200 castings on the way, Aeroclassics' market share is shrinking.
