What are the coolest planes you've flown on?

So, I only started actively logging my flights last year. This year, I decided to pore through old reservations and photos, and, with the help of Flightera and some people on FlyerTalk, I've been able to get a lot of flights in. My log currently has 66 flights, and a LOT of U.S. domestics are missing, so it is nowhere near complete.

I don't have time to list all of my cool flights, so here is the log!

What cool types have you been on?

From doing my own research on what planes were in service when I took my first trip on an airplane (I was too young to remember), most likely a 747 classic, either a 747-200 or a 747-300. I might have flown on older Airbus widebodies as well, could have been anything from the A300 to the A340. But the coolest plane I flew on that I can actually say for certain is the A318, I flew with at least two airframes of the type. I might have been on another one but I don’t remember exactly…

B707; B727; B737 ( 200 and 300); DC-10; B747 (200/300/400); MD-11; Tristar; but the coolest experiences were my flights aboard the DC-6 ( ex SAAF) on its ferry flight to become part of the SAA Museum Society and then two trips on the Junkers JU-52 ( also SAA Museum Society). Memories of Gold for me!

Delta Team USA A330-900 is the only real special livery I’ve been on.

I’ve flown so much MD-88/90’s - those are and will be of course my favorite forever! First MD-88 flight was with Delta when I was very, very young but I don’t remember exactly, ATL-CVG in January 2013. My last MD-88 flight was in November 2019 - coincidentally CVG-ATL…

Nice! I wish I had been on a mad dog. Maybe my log will reveal something when I do some digging. My first flight to my knowledge was Southwest 313, MDW-LGA, on May 2, 2013. The plane, a 737-700 registered N916WN, ended up at Avelo Airlines and now is owned by the Department of Homeland Security. In terms of special liveries, I've been on a Marimekko Unikko Finnair A330, Lufthansa Star Alliance A340, and the airBaltic '50th A220' special livery as far as I can recall.
