The Arrow to the Northwest: An Airlink Wishlist

Northwest Airlink is vastly underrated in 1:400 scale IMO. With just 10 models produced, a majority coming from Gemini Jets, we are severely lacking in many departments. Here’s what I would consider to be my top picks for future Airlink releases.

Obviously we have to start with the Embraer 175 with the standard winglets. How this has not yet been released is beyond me.

Another top pick is the CRJ-200 Bowling Shoe. We’ve seen a couple final livery releases, so why not a Bowling Shoe to complement it?

Besides those two jets, Airlink is well-covered in the jetliner era. GJ has released both liveries on the Avro and we’ve seen the CRJ final colors several times.

The top prop is the Saab 340 with the Thermometer livery. Another huge gap in the 400 Airlink fleet!

Simmons Airlines briefly operated a pair of ATR 42s in 1987. There aren’t many good photos out there but some flight sim renders will do.

Aeroclassics has touched on the F27, but one with the Thermometer colors would be awesome to see.

Here are some other types that would be cool to see:

Don't forget the Metroliner! The thermometer livery is one of my least favorite liveries ever applied on a US Airline but on theMetroliner it looks Gorgeous

Would love these for KPNW’s retro setups. Would be nice seeing the other NWA Saab’s and RJ’s done again too-
