TexanAirplaneStore... a new future

Hi all,

I wanted to provide a new thread about TexanAirplaneStore, as I have seen frustration among the users on this thread about the store in the past.

ME
Some of you may know me from the collecting Discord server, but if not, greetings for the first time! My name is Joe. After being a customer for multiple years now, I am posting this because I am excited to announce I have just joined the TexanAirplaneStore team with Nick. As a former loyal customer and new store member, I would like to provide a much needed update on the store, new improvements, and the exciting future.

THE PAST
As you many of you know, the store has been ran solely by Nick ever since it has been open for business. Recently, he has taken on many time-consuming new endeavors in his life, in addition to providing the great service of selling models to many of you and myself. Even though there may have been some rough patches in the past, that will now be a thing of the past.

THE PRESENT
In the short time that I have been apart of the store, we have already had a large increase in production and new additions to the store. Just to name a few (pictured below), we have become an official retailer of 3D Design Deck and can stock all desired pre orders, revamped the "About Us" section to make it much easier for everyone to learn about us and how we compare to others, and updated the stock to provide the most current (AND FUTURE!) releases to all of you!

In terms of my role, I will be handling much of the customer communications and the website editing. By splitting this aspect of the store and the physical shipping and ordering from retailers between us, we can now provide a much more efficient and timely service to everyone. All methods of contacting Nick or I will remain the same. I am most likely to answer through the website contact form or Discord in the collecting server.

THE FUTURE
As for the store moving forward, we have many ideas in discussion. We are working on, but not limited to, the logistics of 3D printed GSE and buildings, stocking a vast array of new releases from different brands, and improvements to the rewards program. Of course, all of you are welcome to share ideas or requests as well.

As always, we will continue to update everything to the most current status and work to improve on anything necessary. Feel free to contact either of us at any time.

We will continue to attend major collection show events around the country as they occur. Hosting the Orlando MCO Show in March was a big success, as well as Airliners International 2025 just last month. In 2026, we are the hosts of Airliners International 2026 and look forward to seeing all of you there! Thank you and happy shopping!

Have always been a fan of of the TexanAirplaneStore when things are running smoothly. Decent selection, reasonable pricing, hot deals, excellent customer service, and personalized communication with customers. It's the closest thing to having a physical local retailer when there are none nearby. When things flopped, however, it seemed to always surround a lack of communication to customer inquiries. I am hopeful that the business will continue to improve and thrive, as it really is a neat store with a great owner. Lots of smaller shops have come and go, so it's exciting to still see businesses such as Texan, VankeeVictor, PrairieDiecast, MTS, DG Pilot, and Squatchy's up and running.

All the best!

We greatly appreciate all your support. As I mentioned in the original post, I can now handle most inquiries, as part of our way to ensure we no longer have any of those “flop” time periods that you mentioned.

This is great news and can't wait to continue purchasing through you guys! Communication goes a long way.
I noticed that there are some items listed on the site under pre-order status, but after clicking on the model, the inventory count appears. Are the latest NG models in stock and ready to ship?
