I ordered my Texan Airplane Store order a month ago (11/29) and never got shipping notice after the order confirmed. I understand it’s the holiday season, but I’ve called and emailed and I’ve gotten no response these past few days. I’m wondering what the next steps are, thanks!

On 12/3 their marketing team sent an email stating that shipping would be paused for the holiday season until 1/3/26. They also stated that all unfulfilled orders would be shipped the following day, meaning 12/4. It could be that your order was somehow overlooked with the sheer volume of orders to fulfill around Black Friday. Still, no excuse.

How big was the order? I would wait until 1/3/26 and give them another week or so to catchup on unread emails (they're probably completely offline in vacation mode). Or, there's a member here #Boedinger who is supposedly a member of the Texan Airplane Store team. You can try reaching out to him. A few other members including myself have had hiccups in the past with orders placed through TAS (if you search the forum there are other threads with order inquiries), but it seems like they eventually all get resolved, not without some angst though. There's always the option to open a credit card claim, though this would just end up forcing a refund without the desired model and a potential ban from the store. Personally, I would wait. They seem like honest people and must have overlooked your order by accident. The owner is hosting the next AI convention so I especially can't see him scamming people with a subsequent risk of tarnishing his image with such high stakes at hand.

If your order was purchased during their Black Friday sales there is a high chance it’s gone missing with USPS. I have a pending order with them since 11/30 that has a missing shipping claim and they informed me a bunch of their orders had the same issue from that batch during the sales event.

Did they refund your order or waiting to see if USPS finds the missing package? That's a real bummer to hear...I always try to avoid online shopping during Black Friday/Christmas season unless it's Amazon or Ebay (both have good customer service with money back guarantees) because shipping carriers are simply swamped with packages. Heck, the line at USPS the other week was out the door.

I have been staying patient to give them an opportunity to find a solution as I understand there are circumstances out of their control. In my case however, says USPS never received the item to begin with so I fear there may be theft involved.

Yikes! Best case scenario the package shows up, otherwise Texan send over a refund and they are refunded by USPS.

Issue is I paid $22 for the Southwest Airlines 727-200 by Aeroclassics which can go for $70… I had a great deal in the bag that I couldn't find anywhere else! I won’t be able to use that $22 for the same result which is super disappointing.

A Wildcat order I placed on Thursday initially said it wouldn’t make it until after Christmas, but it magically appeared (lol) in town this afternoon. I suppose if you live in a large city, the chances of your package getting stuck is higher than what mine would be.

I contacted Texan and they said all Black Friday orders had been dropped off. Say’s “Label Created USPS awaiting item” with a Missing package claim / search pending since the 30th of November.

Interesting. I haven’t had luck with a missing item search request; one time I submitted a request when my friend sent something in the mail; it didn’t show up and they never responded. Fortunately it turned up a couple weeks later, so where it went I never found out.

Though disheartening, another steal (no pun intended) will arise, so no worries. A lot of these arise on Ebay netting savings of $50 or more. Plus, keep in mind the upper value is sentimental and thus arbitrary, subject to future re-releases too. My Gemini United Evo Blue 763 was going for $100+ on Ebay until NG re-released it (lol). I still have 13 copies of the Gemini Evo Blue United A319. They sell for $100+ on Ebay now. Should I sell or risk NG/Panda re-releasing it? 😂

No I agree. I don’t like the GJ 727-200 mold so I passed as I think the AC is a better rendition. Maybe V1 will get around to it? Who knows.

Meaning, either the packages were left at the front doorsteps for USPS to pickup and were stolen, or they were dropped off at USPS inside a bin and the packages were stolen out of there before they could be scanned in. If the latter, there are likely multiple cases of theft and multiple police reports. Since it happened inside the facility, there should be CCTV footage of the theft.

Which I do sell on eBay myself (Not Models) and I can’t imagine not waiting in line until I see a human scanning my shipments with my own eyes for my own assurance. However, I know some don’t do this but I would never risk it because theft happens all the time.
