Taking a break from the website work to get through some new arrivals at the hangar. This Aer Lingus 737-300 just flew in from Geneva courtesy of my friend Nick. Aer Lingus was a long time customer of the 737 and operated all 3 variants of the classic including a pair of series 300s. Both were delivered new in 1987 but only stayed with Aer lingus until late 1992 as they preferred the series 400 and 500.

I actually wrote about Aer Lingus 737s back in June 2021 at the site: https://www.yesterdaysairlines.com/airline-history-blog/shamrock-500s-aer-lingus-737s-pt2

That's the sort of content I'm not sure will get over to the new website sadly.

MD-90 on the left, GJ July 24’ MD-88 on the right. I’ve gotten both recently and they look okay, nothing beats NGs mold though.

God I miss the Delta Maddogs... core part of my younger ages...

Another new addition is the Z2 Models Rossiya 767-300 EI-ECB, which replaces an old Witty version in the collection. Rossiya flew a trio of 767-300 between 2008 and 2015 all of which were ex-Skymark Airlines. Two of the three have gone on to Royal Flight and were retired in 2021/22.

Gorgeous!!! I didn't know the MD-90 engines were mounted so low when compared to the window line.
Also funny how better the GJ MD-90 front section is when compared to the MD-80, specially due to the much better position of the nose gear

I recently bought some classic models.

Beauties! I also have the Iberia DC-10 and Varig DC-10 in the Landor livery.
I have the DC-10 in the classic "Icaro" livery aswell, but mine is the Cargo version, PP-VMU.
