Another big pickup for me - United 747-400 N177UA by Apollo.

I was lucky to catch a few of United's jumbos in their final year of flying, so this one has been high on my wishlist for a while.

Even with newer 747 molds from NG and HX, the Big Bird mold used on this release still holds up remarkably well - arguably even better in aspects such as the nose. Slap on a few aerials and finer printing, and you’d be hard-pressed to guess whether it was released in 2014 or 2024.

PS: Props to Witty/Apollo for including stands, makes those “in-flight” shots much easier

It's a great model for sure. The nose section looks great. The cradle wings, gears and engines sadly show their age, specially when compared to the newer models of HX and NG

I consider this a masterpiece of beauty. A pity living on the other side of the planet and never having the possibility to spot her...Gemini Thai Smile A320WL HS-TXQ.
