Haven't posted here in a while. But this arrival from Indonesia got me too excited to let pass.
Thanks to @YesterAirlines intrepid coverage of exclusives and his suggestion I contact them via IG - these fill a sizable gap in my GA fleet. I missed out on the Retrojet though which had sold out by then.
Oh, and my very first HX 747, and the first CRJ-Xs to arrive..
Airshop Diecast are fab, and they agreed to procure the 747 classic exclusive release from another store -

Yes! They've got a striking livery history!
Their current branding was designed and later updated by 'the' Landor design agency - here's a great blog by @YesterAirlines on the subject

Air Algerie is an airline that has been getting some long required attention this year with 5 releases (from AC and PHX) more than doubling the previous output to a grand total of 8 models. I picked up the Aeroclassics 727 and the 2 Caravelles from the past 3 release sets to join the 737 from 2022. These all turned out rather well.

I also acquired the Kuwaiti 727-269 Advanced 9K-AFA from the October release. This was one of 4 727s delivered between September 1980 and December 1981. 3 were sold to Syrianair in 1994 but despite being seized by the Iraqis in the first Gulf War AFA remained in service until 2000 - presumably because she had been used as a VIP state transport since Feb 89. The airframe was still present at Kemble as of late 2019. Here she is with the August 2024 767-200 9K-AIA, one of the better Aeroclassics 767 releases.

Another October 727 acquisition is the Olympic Airways 727-284 SX-CBD, one of 6 727-284s Olympic picked up from December 1968 to June 1971. They later acquired 3 ex-Lufthansa 737-230 Advanceds in April 1990. At least 7 of the 9 flew for most of the 1990s with CBD 'Mt. Helicon' not being withdrawn until October 1998. CBD in the 1990s scheme makes a contrast with sistership SX-CBE 'Mt Athos' wearing the 1970s bare metal livery.

Beautiful set! Love the classic red-orange livery. 🤩

LOT Il-62 by Phoenix. All in all a nice product and finally some new classic subject in all this 350NeoMAX787 mess.
But there's two things I need to criticise:
1. Those engines's size and shape look like D30s with modified reversers but are sadly far away from the looks of an NK-8.
2. The cheatline and everything cabin could sit lower here.
