This one technically isn’t a new arrival but I had it tucked away in its box and just discovered it today so it feels new to me!
NG Aeroflot Tu-154 CCCP-85662
Looks great amongst the other Soviet red tails in my collection!

A box from @YankeeVictor400.com arrived today! This is shipment one of two, the latter box will contain some new 3D Design deck products!

IMG_5709.jpeg

First is an Aeroclassics United Airlines 727-200 N7288U. This was a November of 2024 release.

Next is a ton of new GSE. Firstly was a familiar one, my sixth pack of the GeminiJets GSE. These packs contain a ton of helpful realistic pieces such as belt loaders, tugs and towbars, ULC loaders, and more. I like when everything generally matches so having 6 of the same belt loaders for example is very nice to have, especially once I start perusing larger projects.

Here’s my full range of GJ GSE (plus a few others nearby):

And the next two are brand new to me. These are the Aeroclassics 21 piece GSE sets. They contain a lot of interesting goodies, some better than others. The stairs are interesting but mostly poorly built compared to GJ’s unfortunately. The tugs, baggage carts, trucks, and some others bits are super cool additions that would work well with my older 80/90s dioramas that I will be getting into eventually down the line. I’m used to the usual resin/plastic/3D printed GSE, so getting heavyweight mostly metal GSE is an interesting switch up there. I plan to acetone off the asian airline branding on all of these for a more generic look as well.

The full GSE lineup for me! Everything from tugs to cones to bag/cargo loaders to busses to passengers and more!

I’m gonna be needing some new GSE for CVG, maybe another Gemini pack won’t hurt. I recommend covering the blue on the catering truck and adding a LSG or Gate Gourmet, etc. to add more realism. Here’s a picture of mine up to a United MAX 9IMG_2939.jpeg

I’ve only modified a few GJ GSE so far, hoping to do more in the future. Painting that top section fully white makes the catering trucks look a ton better too! That’s a great idea.

That's a great idea and i've done the same in the past with some of my Herpa 1:500 GSE :D

A couple of new arrivals.
Aeroclassics Air Algerie 727-200 from @YankeeVictor400.com.

Normally I tend to dog on Aeroclassics models but this, and the Kuwaiti 727-200 from the last set are some lovely models.

NG United 737-900ER (June 2022). I flew a United 737-900ER a couple years back from ORD-LAX so this model was a no brainer for me. Although NG did release those United 737-900ER's last year, the stickers on them had dissuaded me from buying them. Hopefully we see NG release a United 757-300 in this scheme soon, as I flew my return leg back to ORD on one.

I was told that apparently there was a rerun of this model in 2024 with that last run of United 737-900ER's, although I can't speak to how true that statement is.
