Another holy grail that has just joined my collection is the Hangar Club ATI DC-9-30. I've been after this one for a long time! A production run of 120 units is fairly standard for Aeroclassics nowadays but back then in 2008 it was still small. Lots of European charter airlines are still missing in the scale, but super happy to have got this one. Thanks Northeast Diecast.

Sunday's is often collection induction day. @abdulmohiuddin I think you beat me to this model from Beans collection sale but I found a second and TS-JHR 'Bizerte' has now joined my African fleet alongside the A300 and Caravelle.

It's a real struggle to find any space in the African section nowadays, but a little bit of shuffling here and there and the Tunis 727 has a space!

I've sent a PM to Beans about a couple of weeks ago... still no answer :(

By the way, that Air Gabon B737-400 is a cool model. I don't remember that release at all. Panda mould, right??

I bought 15 models form him but I know he has sold the entire collection now - sorry mate.

The Air Gabon is a custom that @DTcustoms made for me. Lovely model.

Yes I was able to snag that model from him alongside a couple other 727's. Glad to see that you were able to find a copy for yourself as well, it is a lovely model and it is the best AC 727 in my collection quality wise. Mind if I ask how you obtained your copy? And do you also know how Beans sold the rest of his collection?

Got mine from Northeast Diecast who I believe bought what Beans hadn't sold too

Can you ever have too many DC-9s in your collection? This morning I had 128 but another 13 just arrived - thanks to Ryan Dunning who's selling his large Diesel Nine collection. Mostly Aeroclassics here with single Sovereigns and Net Models examples. Looking forward to getting these into the collection and buying more from Ryan too.

3 new arrivals in one day! First one is this Salmon Thirty Salmon by NG that doesn’t really fit my collection criteria but is just a great livery and I had to have it.

Next are two from Germany, both GeniniJets US Airways Express aircraft. Saab 340 and a Dash 8-200. I had to go on a short but eventful journey to finally get these as they were “delivered” to my house but I wasn’t home. They didn’t leave a slip, and I had to go to a few different post offices to finally track it down😅😅thankfully they’ve arrived in one piece and about as pristine as these little guys can be anymore.

proper photos will come in the usual thread eventually :) these two US planes mark me at 70% finished my Legacy US collection. It’s insane how far i’ve come in just a couple months… I can’t wait to do a final total on this past year and cringe at how much i’ve spent🫠 24 models left to go!!

Four recent arrivals for me.

Pan Am 747-100 N733PA Clipper Young America from HX Models
PSA L-1011 -1 N10114 from NG
American MD-82 N236AA from NG
USAir Express Dash-8 100 N937HA from 3D Design Deck

This is a special group for me as they're model #s 99-102 in my collection. It's fitting for me that the ones that take me over 100 are all retros, including an NG Tristar, the mold that, more than any other, rekindled my interest in the hobby in 2022 after a long time away.

Chose to go with Clipper Young America from HX's PAA options. An up-to-modern standards PAA 747 has been high on my want list for a long time, so I'm thrilled to be able to get one here. I'll join the chorus of those saying I don't love the shiny engines, but it's nonetheless a striking model, and it's awfully tempting to get at least one more. Will definitely be a collection centerpiece.

Mentioned above that NG's Tristars were what sparked my return to collecting. It started with the two Delta widget Tristars they put out in 2022, and this is now the 9th in my collection. Obviously I wish they'd do more, but the ones they do put out never disappoint.

PSA L1011.jpg

This is my 5th of the AA Maddogs NG has put out. Was hard to resist getting one more for diorama purposes. Like with the Tristars, these never disappoint but like many of you, I wish they'd do more and mix up the airlines.

AA Super 80.jpg

Finally, the 3DD Dash-8. My first 3DD offering. Happy to add another retro regional to the collection since those have been so few and far between, so will be keeping an eye out for more going forward.
