The PHX A380 still holds up pretty well!
And great job on the livery PHX and @DTcustoms

Now where's that mica VA A343 & A346 delivery scheme.......

Something different from those who know my usual purchases! A Dyess AFB C130H Hercules. You may be asking why and the reason being my cousin and her husband fly C130Js (the fancy new ones with the big screens!🤩) at Dyess currently. Last Christmas I made a custom board of the Dyess ramp to display the GeminiJets version of this plane and this year they will receive this one to park right next to it.

I’ve been looking for this guy on ebay for a good while, usually going for 80$ or more. This one I got for 33$, albeit without the F15 advertised on the box (or the plastic stand….meh). The F15 would have been cool to have and I may revisit this product in later years but for now the F15 didn’t serve the purpose of the purchase for my gift to them so I got a great deal all around imo.

Typical older dragon bubbling has unfortunately been hitting this model but not super noticeable from a distance.

Landing gear is all removable in typical Dragon Wings style.

Extra parts (included 4 extra tires in two sizes, the doors to make the “in flight” style), and the open back door replacement):

I love this model a lot more than the Gemini version of this same plane. I wish I didn’t gift that one already or i’d do a good comparison of both. Perhaps one day!

Awesome. I also have a USAF C-130 by Dragon and the quality is wonderful!

Jumbos, Jumbos everywhere!

Sadly I broke the wingtip HF aerials soon after I received it, and I tried my best to glued them back. BB's 747-300/400 moulds are absolutely masterpieces. I wonder why seems like every brand that makes both 747-100/200 and 300/400s are making 300/400s better than 100/200s (even Phoenix's 747-400 and -8s are looking slighly better than their horrible 747 classics)?

An absolutely beautiful work with gorgeous and detailed painting and no issues like incorrectly painted windshield.

Another brilliant work with beautiful Boeing House Color livery.

Haven't had the time to post this but here was the haul I got from the Airliners convention in Atlanta a few weeks ago. Walked out of there with a lot more widebodies than I expected, despite me having to ship the planes back home.

The Gemini200s were neat little bonuses from the famed "Slimmerville" tables - I'll post a separate thread in the 1:200 category explaining their stories soon.

It appears that Phoenix erred on the correct shade of purple. It should be much lighter, more magenta and less blue.
Unfortunately colors change for each manufacturer. There isn't a single model made in the same colors by different manufacturer. Gemini produced this model also, and the livery is different from the 1:1 airplane.
The other problem is that the same manufacturer produces models of the same airline with different liveries and/or shade of liveries. Impossibile to say where is the truth by looking just the pics but maybe you're right.

Gemini seems much more magenta
IMG_20250718_223828.jpg
AV400 with HS-TWB seems magenta too

Looking at all these models (bad look for sure, just a very superficial consideration) It seems that Phoenix made a better job.
