  • A perfect replacement for my AV400 model
Here's a comparison between both models (left: AV400, right: NG Models). The photo doesn't do it justice, but the silver "A350" titles on the NG model does appear slightly more accurate.

Over the past few weeks, I have had the honor to obtain some very well kept second hand models from a fellow MAF user @Beans__ . All have been 727-200's from AV400 or Aeroclassics.

Starting with the AV400 additions, first is the Libyan Arab Airlines 727-200 5A-DIB. Libyan flew the 727-200 from 1971 to the mid-2000's, mostly remaining in the same scheme since delivery to retirement. A welcome representative for Libya.

Next is the AV400 Emirates 727-200 A6-EMB. I had mulled over the recent AC version of the EK 727 and despite having the flag correct on the AC version, I had preferred the AV400 release to it. Matches well with my C Models EK 737-300 AP-BCD.

For the Aeroclassics additions, I have the Tunis Air 727-200 TS-JHR. TS-JHR was a later delivery for Tunis Air and thus sports a lovely great belly. A welcome representative for Tunisia!

Lastly, a nice EuroClassics model from 2006, the JAT 727-200 YU-AKA. I quite like the old non-rolling gear, it looks substantially better than the current rolling gear AC has. Older AC models are quite lovely, I wish AC took the same amount of care now as they did then. It accompanies my Aviogenex Tu 134A nicely, now all I need is an Inex-Adria MD-80 and I'll have every major Yugoslavian airline represented! NG Models please🙏?

Overall I am very glad to have these, and a thank you to @Beans__ for selling these models, they will be cared for well over here!

WOW, these are very cool 727s! Wonderful liveries of the past, back when airlines weren't afraid of using color.

My 2 latest arrivals. Both arrived yesterday.

NG April Release Jetstar A320-251N VH-A5A. Yes it should be light-grey instead of silver, but I don't really mind.

And my NG April exchange model. My first exchange model is the NG Jetstar A320-232 VH-VFJ in the 2012 livery without sharklets. There are only 3 of these in the fleet, VH-VFI, VFJ, and VFK, whereas there are 17 A320s in the fleet in this livery with sharklets.

These are both much needed additions for my collection and take my Jetstar fleet to 4 and my whole collection to 57.

These are my first NG A320 models and I must say that I am very much impressed by the moulds as per usual with NG.

Another arrival in the big Bedfordshire Diecast box is this lovely colourful Phoenix A340-300. BWIA operated 2 A340-300s but only the first, 9Y-TJN, operated in the full steel drum colours. Originally C-FTNP with Air Canada BWIA picked her up in June 2002 and she remained in service with them until after the the Caribbean Airlines makeover in 2007.
