AC screwed up by using CFM56 engines instead of the PW engines on the NEO... so basically they did a CEO instead of NEO 😑
Funny I was actually looking for a Latam CEO so I didn'tmind. Infact I noticed that a few days after getting it when I took the picture.

Today I welcome two more new additions to my model collection, one of which has filled a key gap in my collection.

Firstly, I present the JC Wings MEA (Middle East Airlines) A320-200 OD-MRT in the 75th anniversary scheme. My first JC Wings A320, which looks quite alright in my opinion, just don't pay too much attention to the front end. It is also helped by having IAE engines instead of the oversized CFM's that JC Wings has. Glad to have it, as it brings a Lebanese aircraft to the collection.

This next model is a little older, being of 2008 vintage.

The PIA DC-10 AP-AXC by Aeroclassics! A PIA DC-10 was a massive hole in my collection that I was desperately trying to fill since I started collecting. The Witty version of this model did pop up, however the Witty version had a fictional cargo door on the side. This model is special as it depicts PIA's first widebody aircraft as it was delivered to PIA. AP-AXC wore this scheme for under a year before the stars on the tail were eliminated, leaving only the PIA on the tail. Now if only I could find the 2020 Aeroclassics PIA DC-10 releases in the green-gold livery to complete it.

2 new arrivals yesterday:
- GJ VH-X4A QantasLink in the Minyma Kutjara Tjukurpa livery, or Brocolli or Green Machine livery as I’ve heard locals call it.
- GJ N863GY Atlas Air with Apex Logistics titles - after getting the HX Models 747-100 in the first flight colours I wanted the very last 747 ever produced.

4 new additions arrived today!

- G-APEA Aeroclassics Vickers Vanguard with BEA livery
- G-BBDG Gemini Concorde in Negus scheme (based at Brooklands Museum)

Very nice additions, do you have the GJ BA World Cargo 748F to complete the trio?

YY’s CX 744 (Asia’s World City c/s). The mould appears to based on the already-decent JC, with moulded-in belly intakes and detailed rolling gear added. Pretty flawless apart from the large aerials.

NG’s EK 359. The vibrant EK colors look fantastic on NG’s stellar mould. No clue how they got this to market without getting sued, but it’s well worth the effort.

YY’s KAL 748, bought because it was the only not-horrendous option available. While the glossy blue and defined hump-nose transition are strengths relative to the JC, the wing joint and blue engine exhausts are major failings. 748s did have blue-tinged exhausts prior to delivery, but it’s just too pronounced here.

They got pretty close based on that cease and desist letter from Emirates. I know the way that the registration is printed was done wrong on purpose, but not sure if that’s related…

Wow, I had no clue that happened. Guess that explains why NG’s site lists it as a blank model when you reedem its code.View attachment 37886
Yeah, that’ll probably the only time NG will do an EK model, because if they make another one they will actually get sued. EK doesn’t take too kindly to their brand being used on unlicensed products…

Where do you buy YY? Can’t find them in EU

For me it is a winner!

Just got mine in the mail, just a beautiful model, thanks for those pics that convinced me lol. Can’t wait to get some pics of it here soon. :)

Plus some others that have arrived recently. A second US Airways A321 in the other reg I needed and the Delta 2002 Salt Lake Olympics 777-200, which I now have both the 777 and 757. Might end up trying to get the 1:200 CRJ NG made in that livery some day in the future.

As you know I don't buy a lot of Gemini, mainly due to their release selections not fitting with my massive collection criteria rather than any animosity, but I did pickup the recent American MD-90. Overall it is a decent model, although the odd widening of the lower fuselage ahead of the wing rather stands out on this example.
