Show Your Latest 1:400 Purchase

Very excited to see these models in the future... Maybe we can see NG making some more Air New Zealand, particularly the 777s and narrowbodies.
I’m definitely all for those Air New Zealand 777’s, though I can also wait for awhile still too as my wallet needs plenty of reviving. 😅
 
I don't even really think it is. The rest are just so far behind, it would take a complete disaster on NG's end, and absolute perfection by the other moulds to beat NG.
No doubt about that. I will eventually replace all of my L-1011's with NGs. I've only got 2 Gemini's left.

It's like that for other types as well. Only JC's 777 and AV400's A350 are of equal quality to their NG counterparts. Even then NG's printing, landing gear and antennas are a step above.
 
Which ones are they?
One of them is Eastern N301EA. I've already replaced Delta N740DA, just haven't sold it yet. I'm waiting for NG to do a L-1011-1 in the ATA "Vacation" scheme. I have the Gemini N197AT "Big Ed" That one I'll sell if NG ever makes one.

Yep, it really is… We are extremely lucky have NG, I for one know that I would not be collecting 1:400 without them. Their quality, consistency and innovation is one of the things that is keeping this hobby competitive and fun to collect. They brought 1:200 scale quality and detail down to 1:400 and constantly reward us with amazing new moulds and models. I have nothing to say except thank you NG, and keep up the quality and innovation. :)

Thanks for letting me know. Hopefully we can see NG do a bare metal Eastern, maybe in December or early next year. They can’t not make one, it is just in too high demand to ignore, and as they are not GJ, they hopefully will listen to the community and give us what we want. Another ATA L-1011 would also be great too!

You're welcome. Yes, a bare metal Eastern is an absolute must. I'd also like to see a re-release in the white top scheme. It's probably too much to ask, but I'd also like to see an Eastern L-1011 in bare metal with the thin stripes. I have the ATA L-1011-500, and I absolutely love it.

I wouldn't put the JC WINGS 777 up there. Perhaps their 747 new mould however.

No new L-1011 is ever too much to ask! We need all the Eastern Tristars to be made, and a thin stripes one would be epic!
