I really like these China United special schemes and this NG Models release of the Foshan special scheme B-208Y is delightful. Only issue is that as an Ultimate Collection model it comes with a stand, but what doesn't the NG 738 have??

Haha! Yep. In this case it's a curious misstep.
Nonetheless a lovely model. And a great special scheme. Those colours get me! Like something out of a Miyazaki film, or rather more contextually, a Chinese Woodblock Painting.
Have the second one on pre-order, and looking forward to the third one that's listed as 'Future'. Will make a great set.

A massive 8 unboxing, marking some of the first-time-buying aircraft types. (except for a330)
the highlights are the chinese turboprop set and the russia's goverment fleet. both i consider pretty rare and unique sets.

Finally bit the bullet and picked up the 
Lufthansa 748i. What a great mould. The nose and cockpit region are outstanding. And those wings are too sexy for my shirt! A pity however, that the leading edges on the horizontal stabilizers were missed, other than that - elated to add this Queen to the fleet! Here she is arriving at her gate.

I've been unable to resist picking up a few of the recent wonderful Phoenix-model A340-300s. I already love African models and these 'classic' 340s have been great. 3B-NAV was delivered new on March 31, 1995. Named 'Kestrel' it served until mid April 2009 with Air Mauritius and then flew a further 6 years in Argentina.
It wasn't easy to fit this 340 onto the shelf though!

I received today a model I have been wanting in 1/400 for so long! 
It is this beautiful LACSA A320 made exclusively for my local retailer "La Tienda de Aviación" in Costa Rica, but can be also pre-ordered from El Aviador Models in the US (just in case anyone is interested). It is branded under AvGeek Models but the mould is by Panda.
N484GX was the fourth A320 to join LACSA's fleet in 1991, making Costa Rica's flag carrier the first airline in Latin America to operate the A320. Just sharing a little bit of our aviation history.
It is this beautiful LACSA A320 made exclusively for my local retailer "La Tienda de Aviación" in Costa Rica, but can be also pre-ordered from El Aviador Models in the US (just in case anyone is interested). It is branded under AvGeek Models but the mould is by Panda.

!I was super excited when I saw this on El Aviador's IG stories few days ago - a model that I too have been waiting for long!
I'm hoping that, just like the Transbrasil 734, the AR 73G Retro, and the VTjets A320s, this too will pop up on one of my regular stores soon

Oh yes. They're on MHH too (though sold out in a jiffy). Also available via other smaller sellers locally and in the UAE (where VTjets is based out of).
And out of curiosity I just checked on AvMgS and ScMS - they're listed as well

They were sold out at MyHobbyHouse, some made it to Europe (AviationMegaStore and world-of-wings) and boy those models are expensive. JetCollector and Eztoys had them too but were sold out.

Right. They were priced 5% more than NG's A320s on MHH.
