Hello everyone!! I felt like I should take the opportunity to consolidate the darker side of the hobby by allowing everyone to share their broken dreams and promises (A.k.a broken models) in one exciting place! Notice: Keep it civil and respectful

Is that a snap-fit model?! 🫣 😆

Everytime there's been a thread or post like this previously, it's always been purged.
Hopefully this time the Moderators will not purge this

hmmm I certainly won't!

Good luck getting a refund/return from Waffle - he is notoriously infamous for his maltreatment of customers. Last time I had an issue, I was told that I am a “rude and ungrateful person”. Harsh words for a loyal customer for well over a decade

Such an ungrateful customer that I chose by free will to spend $70 at your business. LOL

Yeah exactly. God forbid something out of my control goes wrong. He routinely takes craps on his customers and expects them to return - and sadly I have simply because of some of the gems in the collection sale

Well in my case I should be able to put everything back together with no issues my only concern is the paint chip near the wing root in the photos I attached. Curious if anyone may know how to do some repair on that...

It looks like a deeper paint chip than a scuff. Fill the depth with some modeling putty or apply a generous layer of acrylic paint (recommend Vallejo). When the paint or model putty starts to dry, even out the surface to make the surface blend with the rest of the fuselage. Once dry, add a little more paint on the surface to match the color of the fuselage. It won’t be a perfect fix but will make the chip less of an eye sore

Never forget he said "fuck the collectors" not that long ago when responding to criticism. Why people still buy from him is beyond me.

You think that voids the FAQ section that Waffle contractually binds you too?
Or email them and ask to return for store credit. Sometimes this works. However, you will pay for the return shipment label and original shipping will be deducted from the credited amount too. Last resort is to file a claim but risk being blacklisted
