I really want one of theseHow could this not be my favorite?View attachment 66890

Some gorgeous 707s thereAlthough I have a collection that is almost approaching 1,000 models, and mostly classic airliners, I would have to say this has to be the very elite of my collection.
I was very fortunate in buying these from my friend Mark Smith, who is a top seller and one of the most highly respected collectors in this business.

your welcome mate and thanks for the kind words.Welcome to the forum.Looking forward to seeing more of the collection and still plenty of old classics left for sale to boost the collection too.Although I have a collection that is almost approaching 1,000 models, and mostly classic airliners, I would have to say this has to be the very elite of my collection.

Hi Tom, didn’t I get two of those 707s from you? Or you had duplicates. I know you kept the standard 1980s livery and the bare metal one.Although I have a collection that is almost approaching 1,000 models, and mostly classic airliners, I would have to say this has to be the very elite of my collection.

The best way to spot an American AvGeek is if their favorite aircraft is a regional jet lolHow could this not be my favorite?View attachment 66890
We appreciate the small things in life- like regional jets! My favorite plane (not model) is the United Airlines E120 BrasiliaThe best way to spot an American AvGeek is if their favorite aircraft is a regional jet lol

Looks great.Custom NG KAL 747-8i (HL7644), with corrected engine logos. Two actually, one for display and one spare.

The yearlong process of getting these to look right was like crawling across broken glass, but I have zero regrets lol. These probably won’t be topped unless NG or SQ over in 1:200 does a re-release.
Yeah, it’s been over a year but the new one hasn’t grown on me one bit.Looks great.
Always thought this livery was miles better than the new one.

Corporate minimalism really doesn’t work on liveries- only time I think it has is United, KLM, and Lufthansa. I consider myself to be more a fan of modern aircraft and liveries, but even then with Korean you can’t beat the old one!Same here! This was a wonderful livery and shouldn't have been replaced by the current one.
That is absolutely beautiful.22 years old and still my favourite model:

I love the little DC-9. I’m hoping to get a Northwest DC-922 years old and still my favourite model:
