I do collect 1:600, I think I have around 80/90. You got a nice collection...Anyone here collects or own 1:600 planes? (Schuco, Schabak, Herpa, Silver Wings). You can talk about 1:600 scale here.
I currently own 44 Schabak models, I bought one off eBay and 43 off a japanese auction site.View attachment 36065
Edit: Are there any other scale 600 chats that are currently active?
I like collecting 1:600, though I don't have that many in my collection.Anyone here collects or own 1:600 planes? (Schuco, Schabak, Herpa, Silver Wings). You can talk about 1:600 scale here.

You could get some on eBay thought they are quite expensive. Hope you get more models thoughI like collecting 1:600, though I don't have that many in my collection.
I got most of my models off of eBay. I would be completely lost without itYou could get some on eBay thought they are quite expensive. Hope you get more models though
Never heard of this store before. Very cool. I'm sure the owner likely is a regular through the collectibles show circuit in the U.S.Gate 72 occasionally have some very nice Schabak aircraft. Etsy also has some but is very similar to eBay.
I don't have a clue. I'm guessing Schuco sold the rest of the stuff left.Does anyone actually know what happened to the Schabak factory after they went bankrupt? Where’s all the stuff
It depends what iteration of Schabak you are talking about. All of your Schabaks are the first generation, which ended in 2006. For the history of them see my site here:Does anyone actually know what happened to the Schabak factory after they went bankrupt? Where’s all the stuff
I’m talking about the first gen Schabak. By the way, I love your page on Schabak, I read it more than four times lol, also love your moulds and ImogeniaIt depends what iteration of Schabak you are talking about. I've also been meaning to do more on the moulds but haven't got that far yet. Check out here: https://www.yesterdaysairlines.com/schabak-moulds.html
After 2006 Schabak was reborn as Schuco Schabaks with printed models and then there was a third generation with new moulds that lasted I think until 2017.
Thanks. Well most of the moulds went from Germany to China and where used for the Schuco Schabaks, but then there was an issue and everything was lost. The details were unclear to say the least!I’m talking about the first gen Schabak. By the way, I love your page on Schabak, I read it more than four times lol, also love your moulds and Imogenia
