Rome FCO - Paris ORY - (La Ville Lumiere) - Rome FCO trip.

Hi to all.
I must say that my recent trip to Paris has been quite nice despite my poor health and the weather.
I departed from Rome FCO and arrived in Paris ORY, returning to Rome FCO.
Outbound on easyJet and return on Wizz Air Malta, both low-cost airlines.
Those who know me in my thirty-year career as a spotter and collector know that I've always criticized three things: Herpa (especially in recent years), Alitalia, Italy, and Rome in particular, my hometown.
But today I have to say that Leonardo Da Vinci Airport (FCO) pleasantly surprised me: very beautiful, modern, technologically advanced, spacious, clean, full of shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, and very bright even if there's no natural light. Perhaps more automatic transfer ramps would be useful because it takes about a 10-minute brisk walk to get to the most remote gates in Terminal 1 (departures). The same goes for the Satellite, where long-haul and intercontinental flights depart and arrive: very beautiful, modern, spacious, bright, and packed with everything a traveler could ask for and want.
I can't say the same about Paris Orly Airport, a 4-star Skytrax airport for 2025: Terminal 2, with gates B11 to B22, is a narrow, cramped space, with a couple of cafes and a few small shops. easyJet, Wizz Air, some Transavia France, ITA Airways, and TAP flights depart from that terminal; passengers from two A321neo flights (e.g., easyJet and Wizz Air, as happened to me) are enough to fill the entire space! Lines of 200 to 220 passengers per gate form, intersecting, merging, and simultaneously stacking up on top of the passengers sitting waiting for their gates and flights, in a truly unimaginable chaos. Only the seats near the restrooms, Gate 22, are relatively more available.
So I have to say that while I've given FCO a lot of thought, I didn't have a great impression of ORY.
But this thread isn't about words, but photos, as it should be. Naturally, I won't post photos of the interior of the two airports, especially of the crowds at ORY, for privacy reasons.
Thank you all for your attention.

Just Charter being Charter... at least 100 new pictures in each new post. I'm already used to it :ROFLMAO:
Sadly there's no Off-Topic section here on MAF, and the thread do have real life aviation content, so let it be
Got it! Beautiful pictures anyway!! I’m used to other forums where it is more strict, like IFC, but MAF seems a lot less strict.

Thanks for the nice words and the sympathy...:ROFLMAO:

But the real pleasure (apart from the fact that Paris is one of the most beautiful cities of the planet Earth) was spotting some planes at Paris ORY airport.
Here an Air France B777-300ER (routes especially for French Overseas territories in competition with Corsair, Frenchbee, Air Caraibes).
