Before:
Damages with missing engine blades, broken front gear door, scratches on underside and paint chips on leading edge
Replaced engines
Repainted underside
Retouched leading edge
Contacted HM for parts
They got these
These are different style, so they looked again and found these:
The engines and front gear are easy to break. Extra spares ordered.
Engines removal: The glue inside the engine was very hard to come off. Used a pliers to break apart
Next was painting the underside. Got a spray paint with bright silver metallic closest to original
Only area in green needs to be painted
Applied 2-3 thin layers to cover the scratches
It’s dry
Installing new engines: it was difficult to put in. They won’t go in all the way leaving some gaps. Pushing too hard may break off the blades
Retouched the leading edge
Reinstalling the antenna
