Honestly the hardest to do and it took me a couple hours to get it right. Concourse A is almost completed, finally.

Nice! Double gates (I have no idea what they are called, so this will do for now) are some of the hardest things to do, I practice them on a normal piece of A3 paper before drawing them on the airport, to make sure I don't mess it up.

You don't need a huge amount of space. I have a tiny 46cmx20cm board with an accurate-to-scale model of Albury Airport (YMAY).

You will need more space for one of those. Widebodies take up a lot more space, I chose YMAY because it only serves regional turboprops. I have a 40cm by 120cm board, modeling YMML, and I can fit 7 widebodies on it.
