I like the look of the SIA A340-500, the SAA A340-300 and the ANZ 747-400, even though the mould is not great. What ones interest you?

Yea buddy, that SIA livery on the A345 will look better than the 346 - porporcionally nicer IMO. Hopefully Pheonix doesn't screw up the landing gear. Their 747 mould doesn't compare well to the JC Wings mould however ... That nose is a bit chubby. Hopefully we'll have some new 747 moulds from NG and Aviation 400 soon.

I don't know about the AV400 A340, but I have heard lots of good stuff about the Phoenix one.

Aviation 400 seems to have better quality control and overall details, not to mention those beacon lights.

In my opinion, pretty average release by Phoenix, this is Christmas for Asia Collectors but other than that nothing to write home about

It's quite decent. I got their Libyan Govt, Tahiti and Kam Air recently and all great

They're not bad. I got a Virgin Atlantic A340-300, and it's pretty good. My only complaints are it's not as detailed compared to other model makers

Excluding the 747-8, all the other 747 versions made by Phoenix are crap and can be ignored. Too bad they keep releasing nice stuff on that awful mould! Anyway, lots of Asian stuff on this release. I guess the A340s will look good!

agree, it's a pity to see the beautiful Air New Zealand on that awful 747 mould

I second that. If it was made on almost any other mould, it would be a must-buy, but I cannot stand the Phoenix mould.

How does the Pheonix A340 compare to the Aviation 400 A340?

Both moulds are very good. Oddly the AV400 A340 seems better than the A330. I reviewed one back in 2019: https://modelairliner.com/cathay-pacific-airbus-a340-300-by-aviation400/
