Panda New Molds: C919, MD-11 and 767-300 (Photo Intensive)

Yes, but is there a picture showing 176 without corogard but still with these exit markings?
I mean, they could have done it with these markings but with corogard and without belly titles to have previous livery variant. Not that I really care much about Delta post Widget.
Yep, I'm aware Delta has multiple variants of 767 exit markings. This one is correct for 176 post-coroguard removal.

Thanks for these gorgeous photos! Please post more !

Glad you liked them! That's all for now on these subjects though.

I now am thinking they look so also because there's no detailing on them (unfortunately) - they're just a flat dull shade . One little niggling detail - on what is an excellent mould - best in 1/400 yet perhaps?!

Speaking of intricate detail, one area that I noticed is not very detailed are the NACA scoops for the PACK intakes. They are properly placed, with the characteristic offset to the port side, but are not sharply carved.

I try to avoid photographing models lying upside down (not a very flattering position for an aircraft 😅), and unfortunately, the PACK intakes are not clearly visible on the stand photos.

Overall the 763 mold is really amazing though.

Ah, ok. Looking through available pics I was under the impression that all Delta 763 (in house paintshop repaints?) got those markings like on ship 171, but I just stumbled upon a pic of another airframe that indeed carries these classic "Boeing"-style markings. So I take it Delta uses more than one paintshop contractor. Nice attention to detail here then. (y)

Finally was able to unpack my MD-11s. Awesome to finally see a good 11.
My models - as great as they look - however are quite a mess as they came soaked in protective oil - it was literally driping from these models.

Here's my Widget. (y)

I don’t get it—why do they coat the models in this oil? It just makes them super slippery and way more prone to picking up fingerprints

It can be good for conservation of the model's (metal) surfaces and it especially keeps rolling wheels rolling - and it is good to ruin quality matt grey photo mats...😑

I was hoping to get some sun onto Panda's AA MD-11 but had no luck. So here's the ordinary "studio" lighting again... Note the pool of oil around the nose gear..

One of the reasons we toss at least one of these on every order we ship. I always grabbed a handful of extra ones from the optical to clean and polish my models. Not every collector is keen on wiping models with a cloth as it is easy to take out antennas and gears, but I think they are very useful when handling models if you are careful.

I love your lighting Alex. Taking photos of bare metal models at home is always challenging.
