Panda Model real A320

Came across this picture on airliners.net and a comment mention PandaModel will use it for a new A320 mold. Does anybody know more? Is this really why this plane was disassembled and shipped? While the endeavor sounds great I cannot imagine it being worth the cost. What are your thoughts?

Incredible but also absurd lol. Unless it's an AI or Photoshop hoax, the backstory is gonna be pretty interesting

I saw a video of its fuselage being towed a while back so I do not believe this is a work of Photoshop. Curious as to how this came to fruition…

Their current A320 is basically perfect so I doubt they'll use it for a new mould. However it does look like they have bought it for some reason.

Comment of the author of the picture:

"PandaModel use this real A320 aircraft for reference to build the brand new 1:400 A320 scale model mould."

But I also don't think they'll use it for a new mould

There certainly are easier ways to create a mould.🫣

But if, they could have bought a 727 from the scrap dealer.

Maybe it's going to be their stand at a show? Or maybe it's going to be their new office / showroom / gallery / display
Or lol Panda Boss just has a lot of moneeezzz and it'll be his future home and he's using this occasion to transport the thing across as an opportunity to market his company

I think 3D printing is going to become our solution for classics, honestly.
I don't see this for the near future - not for the model itself. It is likely that 3D printers are used to make the casting moulds though (did that already)
