That's certainly something that can be discussed. I'll PM you.3D Design Deck would love to be one of your vendors!![]()
Not that I need any for Indianapolis, but I could see you commissioning a ton of classics for Venezuela and other Central/South American nations. That's certainly something that can be discussed. I'll PM you.

Its great to see all the improvements to your shop and these update videos are a nice addition aswell. Hopefully you'll be able to stock some niche brands that are often exclusively available in Asia.
Anything that might be relevant to us US classics collectors by any chance? Thanks Mark! I am actually talking to Patriot and have their two DC-10s up for Pre-order on the site. They have a lot of cool stuff in their plans.
Only if you are into Space-Program stuff.Anything that might be relevant to us US classics collectors by any chance?
Meh.Only if you are into Space-Program stuff.
It would be nice, wouldn't it? There seems to be a trend in China... MD-11s, classic 747s, AC DC-10s with updated gears and antennas, maybe we have a chance if we put the idea in their heads.Meh.
I was thinking along the lines of a state of the art 727 mold or something like that.
Unfortunately, the 727 wasn't much of a factor in China. CAAC had Tu-154s and Tridents instead. We need a new American owned brand dedicated to classics, quality, and decent relations with the collector community. It would be nice, wouldn't it? There seems to be a trend in China... Looking forward to Patriot DC-10s! Hopefully we'll see them release all the significant DC-10-30 operators in the future - will be great with the upgraded gears and aerials. And maybe invest in the correct DC-10-10 wingThanks Mark! I am actually talking to Patriot and have their two DC-10s up for Pre-order on the site. They have a lot of cool stuff in their plans.
A 10-10 would be great. But their first -10 (prototype) looks more like AC's standard -30 with missing center gear.Looking forward to Patriot DC-10s! I believe Midwest Model Shop is no longer the owner of this forum, so there should be no restrictions on who is allowed to advertise.Has there ever been a proper DC-10-10 mold in 1:400 scale? IIRC GJ also used to just take the center gear out of their -30s to make them look like -10s. Maybe DW?
On a different topic, I found the Vendor section on this site so I opened a thread there to post my updates:

Yankee Victor 400 Airplane Model Shop Updates
Updates on latest additions to the shop. Starting with latest IF200/B-Models, the Panda MD-11s and 767-300 plus some offerings from 3D Design Deck. https://www.yankeevictor400.shop/category/pre-orders?Brand=InFlight200modelairlinerforum.com
I apologize as I know that the Midwest Model Store was the only shop allowed to advertise here. But they do not seem to care, and I'm willing to cheat a bit as I need some publicity in these early stages![]()
The last I heard was that Flying Media Group had bought both MAF and the Midwest Model Store. Basically Ali got replaced by a major publishing corporation. Flying Media was looking at the model market with interest but seems to be too slow of a return for their taste, hence their seemingly complete lack of interest in this forum. Has anybody here been buying models recently from the Midwest Model Store?I believe Midwest Model Shop is no longer the owner of this forum, so there should be no restrictions on who is allowed to advertise.
