This Northwest MD-82 has sat in its box for a little while now, but today has finally escaped and is honoured with a look at the history of NW's MD-82s. For an aircraft that Northwest clearly had very little interest in the Super 80 served a creditable number of years with the airline, although obviously it was outlasted by its smaller and older DC-9 brethren:
