No problems on my Air America copy, and I’m sure the forthcoming Eastern is from the same run, although with painted wings & h.stabs this time. The plating appears to be of a different alloy on that early 757 release as well (more zinc than chrome). I also note the E, S, E, R letters of “EASTERN” are not fully cut out of their white backgrounds - thankfully that is not the case on the latest L-1011 release.
I have this exact model and the same thing happened to me. Other chrome NG 757 (i.e Boeing House, the Republic hybrids...) that I have appeared to be as-is like day 1. By that I can assume that the tarnish only occurs on this specific EA 757.
