NG Model - 1:400 Nov/Dec 2022 Release Photographs

NG rules! Hard to beat the quality of these models! They look like 1:200 instead of 1:400!

For real, without any size indicators I'd be hard-pressed to tell the difference. I think the secret's in the smaller aerials, makes NGs look so much more proportional than other 1:400s.

I have a question for everyone - upon looking at the NG releases really really closely - does everyone notice a template difference in the Tristar cockpit windows? Check the template on the Alia one vs the one on both the TWA & BA. It's very subtle - but once noticed it's very very obvious. According to me the Alia one is correct - with the noticeably larger trailing windows. The TWA & BA one is smaller like that on the Air Lanka which isn't correct. Request all of you to post here what you think. (disclaimer: I'm an NG & Tristar addict - so don't get my enquiry wrong here Hehe)

Out of curiosity, isn't the "gold" livery supposed to be some kind of (metallic) gold instead of "mustard yellow" or whatever that is called in Southwest?
The pics appear to be everything but metallic.

Yes, it is supposed to be a metallic gold, but it varies so much by the lighting. It appears to be good in the photos, but I could be wrong.

I think NG messed up with the color. The real one is have a shiny golden color. Well, it's even being referred to as "Desert Gold"!!!

meanwhile, the model seems to be made in a "mustard" color. I hope this is actually an issue with the light when the pics were taken! Hope the model will come out nice!
