NG CRP Requests

I have a single wish available right now and want to use it on a US Airways aircraft.

I figured I could leave it to a vote to all of you as to which one I pick!

US Airways A319 (Star Alliance Livery)
It was worn by 4 A319 aircraft in the fleet from 2004-2014 when the brand was switched to One World under American Airlines. No Star alliance scheme has been done in 1:400 scale for this airline. A 1:200 757 has been done once but that’s it.

US Airways Shuttle A320 (Shuttle Specifically)
Worn by most if not all the A320s in the early 2000s for a short period of time until about 2004, used on the shuttle routes between BOS/LGA/DCA/PHL. This has been made once in 1:500 scale but never in 1:400 scale.

US Airways A321 (Navy Livery)

Just your standard A321 in the navy color scheme. Seen around the US from the early 2000s until 2010/11 when the last few were painted into the new white livery. Only been done once by AeroClassics and is extremely rare to find, let alone cheaply. I’d suggest nearly any reg that used this livery.

Or if someone wants to make a few wishes feel free! The more options the better. While everyone’s at it, there’s a handful of US Airways aircraft including the Panthers and Steelers specials as well as some 757s that would be awesome to see. For you retro guys there’s some MD80s in the 90s USAir as well that would be awesome to support!

These should all be made and I would buy all three for sure! 👍 Personally we don’t get enough A321’s with fenced winglets across the board so I would have to go with that one!

Agreed 100%, It’s surprising to me no one has done the star alliance as that’s a pretty easy swap with another star alliance for other airlines I bet. The shuttle 320s I understand as they were only painted like that under 5 years total but more navy stuff regardless feels necessary to get soon imo.

Would get all 3, would vote for the first 2.

I put in a new request this morning for the LATAM 320ceo. Surprisingly as a whole, LATAM has not seen too much releases (probably because the merger is recent). The 320ceo from LATAM has not been made, but someone has made a request for the LATAM Brazil 320. The curious case off the Chilean 320s is that they run 3 different types: IAE, CFM, and CFM with sharklets. In addition, these birds operate the services to and from the southern US, mainly MCO and MIA along with the South and Central America services unlike the Brazilian examples.

Not sure what you mean with "recent"... the merger dates from 2015/2016!

BTW, the Brazilian fleet of A320s also have the same engine options of the Chilean

In my eyes 15/16 is relatively recent in aviation terms but again its all relative. Despite the group as a whole operating well over 100 320s that are diverse, there hasn’t been a ceo release for the group as a whole. I just prefer the Chilean examples as the Brazilian ones seem to operate exclusively in Brazil versus flying all different kinds of missions like their Chilean counterparts.
