New NG Mould?

Please tell me its a joke Who will buy this from NG as grown adults. If people want toys like this, thew know where to find them.
NG should really focus on what their collectors want and the reasons we support them

As grown adults, very few. The main target group I presume are children. The toy market is much more active than the die-cast airplane model market.

honestly i'm not mad about it. As long as they're decently priced and marketed correctly they could hit a good market. On the off chance these sell super well they could use the extra cash revenue to put into their 1:400/1:200 scales or more likely help boost name recognition in general. More likely wishful thinking but there is always a chance.

TBH I'm not mad either, but it's kind of a letdown to see NG venturing into this kind of stuff while their A340 mould is forgotten (still in development phase), their 747-100 still need a nosejob, etc etc

I do agree! My main point is that hopefully in a perfect world if these make good money for them and can be received well by this theoretical new demographic, they can start to put more resources into these things so they can happen much faster. I'd assume that they have roadblocks logistically (financially i'd likely assume more than not?) as to why these haven't already happened. They have to know they could make great money off a really good a340 mould and also using the md80 and others more etc etc etc.

OR this is just a rare one off they actually did for "fun" to test some waters and such. We wait and see...

In mainland China, NG is the official gift manufacturer of COMAC, currently 1/100,1/200,1/400 scale are developed, I feel that this children's toys should be a political mission 。。。。。。 hahahahahahahahaha

I guess this is a political task and a special request from COMAC, but I really hope NG will launch the A340-300 and other A340 products soon.
Yes the A340s one would have thought are low hanging fruit and could have been rolled out last year itself with some CAs & MUs & SZs if the local market needed to be addressed in the 'Year of the Classics' and of course wider regions and airlines - PHX is filling in that void smartly and they're super popular so I don't know what's up with NG

Especially if you consider that NG always had a pretty perfect 340-300 minus engines and center gear.

Consulted with NG officials, you can see A340 products in 2025, after Chinese Lunar New Year, March-April. And also replied that I want that A340. hahahahahahaha , I said the models I want are A340-300 and 600.
