I’m new to collecting model airliners and looking to get started in 1:200 scale. My goal is to build a meaningful collection by only purchasing aircraft I’ve personally flown on (and ones I plan to fly in the future)—which will be primarily United aircraft.
With that in mind, I want to focus on the highest quality models available in terms of detail, accuracy, and overall finish rather than just quantity.
I’d really appreciate some guidance on a few things:
Since I’m planning to be selective and only pick up aircraft tied to my own travel, I’m hoping to make the “right” choice each time rather than upgrading later.
