So basialy i have a board that i want to make an airport on with widebody and narrow body gates its 110cm by 90cm and i cant seem to get an idea on how to lay it out.

What scale would this airport be ? Knowing which scale you want this airport to be is crucial for helping you find a layout. Do you collect 500 scale, 400 scale or 200 scale ?
whats the scale ?
