My Sole 1:600 Model: Schabak Delta L-1011 Tristar

Hello everyone! Normally I collect 1:400 scale models, but a few years ago, on a family trip to New England whilst checking out a gift shop, I saw this Delta L-1011 Tristar in a very tiny box. Turns out it’s 1:600 scale made by Schabak, which unfortunately the brand name isn’t as mainstream as it once was back in the day. This model was $20 and does show some wear and tear, but otherwise is in good condition and proudly sits on my work desk at home.

Awesome! A lot of Shabak Models are in pretty bad condition but this one looks to be pretty good! Also looks like a much newer shaback model Still an amazing piece and worth keeping it in your collection.

Nice. I only have 3 1/600 scale models...all Federal Express..727, 747, and DC-10. Got them in 1989 or 1990 from the Federal Express Company Store. They are all Shabak.

Nice! Thanks for sharing JJ! I love these Schabaks, it would be cool to have one of a model in each scale (1:600, 1:500, 1:400, 1:200) all lined up!
