My Hybrid Ideas

I always love making hybrids of different airlines, and with Spirit going slipping under, I can see their brand clinging on through leases down the line. Might make this into a custom since I actually really enjoy this. Made with canva, logos from LogosWorld, template from JC Wings.

A hybrid I’ve been looking at for a while is the Sichuan/Ethiopian A350 hybrid. There’s 2 versions: panda route and standard scheme that are in almost full Sichuan colors but with the Ethiopian reg. They got rid of all the Sichuan titles, but left the full livery.

The ex-regular colors one is flying all white with the grey belly still painted, as far as I know.

Not a hybrid idea but this is a custom model. Two blank NG and Gemini models going into the Delta livery. N233JQ and I haven’t decided on a reg for the 738 yet. Draw Decal btw. I will not do the Braves sticker but, I am a big Braves fan.IMG_5374.webpIMG_5373.webp

I recommend using an airbrush when painting models. Not needed if you have a blank donor and a simple livery which can be fully applied with decals though.

Also recommend using some sort of stencil to mask lines and different colors Either tape, or get a cutter like a cricut or silhouette to cut out masks to the shape you need. You'll get finer lines.

I normally try to avoid using blank models unless the livery really only needs a few decals. I'd rather remove all the paint and then repaint everything. I have more control over the final product.
