My first model airport

I’ve been working on this airport for about 6 months now and I wanted to get some feedback back so feel free to rate it and leave some advice

Considering you’re using daron models (which honestly aren’t the most undetailed things in the world!), I think this is lovely. A bit of weathering goes a long way for more detail. Perhaps outlining the gate markings around the perimeter of the planes in red as well if you can find a skinny enough red marker. Everything seems well in proportion and nothing looks too terribly off scale wise. The only other thing I would suggest is ground service vehicles! They truly help fill up the empty space and make things feel more alive. Cones and miniature workers or passengers also help :)

Thank you so much

I have a resin printer so I’m trying to find some good gse files to print

Update: I’ve decided on creating a fictional airport for my Daron collection as I need time to build a 1/200 collection to justify a model airport. My new airport will be loosely based on the existing KPIA with some creative liberties taken such as a cargo section, upgraded GA accommodations and a disconnected terminal instead of the existing one

Just finished prepping for the paint on the parking surface, but I’m unable to get paint until further notice so this project has ground to a halt for a while
