My first airport

Today I finished building my first airport, I was a bit inspired by the airport in Vienna, as it was my first airport I made some mistakes but I am proud of it! Could you rate them and tell me what I should remember in my next airports?

At first glance, it looks quite nice, but there are lots of things to improve. Try using a ruler or any kind of guidance for the straight lines. Pay attention on the symmetry of some lines (ex: the hardstands). I'd also suggest you to make yourself a terminal building. You can be creative and use MDF wood blocks, for example

There are a few tutorials on Youtube about creating your own diorama. Check this one, for example. They might be very useful!

Reminds me of when I first started with model airports. It's all in the imagination. It's a good start. The use of a ruler would benefit. Also, I have used the ruler measuring tool on Google maps/Earth and Bing maps to get an idea of measurements. Nonetheless this a starting point which is to be appreciated.
