My East Asia Collection Project

Two new arrivals today thanks to all the Black Friday deals. Here's what I got.

The first to join was this Korean Air 737-900 new livery. Produced by HX Models and offered for a shockingly low price compared to the competition, this actually turned out great, with the only notable downside being the sparkly blue color. It's not a huge problem for me though.

KAL flies these on a number of domestic routes across South Korea and neighboring nations.

Second was something I've been eyeing for years. While not critical to the project, I had longed for one for years, and Wildcat had some in stock, so I got the Blue Flying Honu by Aviation400. ANA exclusively flies this between Narita and Honolulu alongside the other two Flying Honus.

This looks amazing! Honu is always a model I’ve wanted. I believe they also operate these out of Tokyo Haneda to HNL as well.

Time to begin the Christmas haul...
Starting off we have another Fuji Dream E-Jet, this one an E170 with the light blue livery. With FDA having a plethora of colors across their fleet, I decided to give in and get a second one from JetCollector. JC Wings needs to do another one pronto!

8025 and 06XJ looking awesome! It's a shame about the horizontal stabilizer but they still look like great additions.

Super helpful for points as well. I need a couple more NGs to get enough GV for another wish, which I'm hoping my exchange models will push me over.

I just managed to snag the last piece available at MHH of AP/HYJLs ANA 738 - 12 pieces (6x2regs)sold out in like a snap.
Just shows the demand for ANA material - and NG's surprising lag in that department.

I'd see pictures of the model on an IG user's diorama - if it manages to reach me, it'll be my first AP model

On another note - lots of Chinese 737s in this AP batch - check them out @JJ Skippy

Another new addition to the East Asia collection came today in a special way. A close friend of mine flew in to visit and delivered this Cebu Pacific A321neo to me - he picked this up at the Miami Airplane Shop a couple months prior whilst with another friend of ours. We planned on meeting up sometime during my winter break, but it didn't work due to conflicts; it worked today though, and I have my first model of this airline!

Cebu Pacific flies a variety of Airbus jets and the ATRs across the Philippines and surrounding countries. Their A330neo (of which my friend brought with to show me) has around 450 seats in an all-economy layout!
